Our story

Farm + family.
That's Farmly.

Farmly was founded by a brother-and-sister team raised on farmers markets, backyard gardens, and meals built around what's in season. Inspired by our mom — who had us growing, harvesting, and cooking from a young age. We believe fresh, local food simply tastes better and supports a healthier system for everyone.

Where it started

Raised at the market.

Based in Santa Monica, we still garden ourselves — including a community garden, and we spend our weeks at the market, where we've built real relationships with the farmers behind the food.

We've both worked in professional kitchens run by chefs renowned for their market-driven, ingredient-first approach to cooking. That philosophy shaped how we think about food — and it's baked into every box we put together.

Farmly brings that connection to your door. Carefully sourced, thoughtfully chosen, and rooted in community.

How we work

We shop so you don't have to.

Every week we're at the Santa Monica Farmers Market each market morning, handpicking from the farms we know and trust. We know which tomatoes are peaking right now, which stone fruit just came in, and which vendor has the best greens this week. That knowledge is what goes into every Farmly box.
